Mad River Club's Building
and
Memorial Fund Project

Objectives

  • To update a 40 plus year old Clubhouse  which has been subject to many years of Tug Hill Winters and extreme changes in weather and the general uses of the membership.

  • To give the membership friends and families of members past and present a chance to recognize past and present members by the ability to make a memorial donation to help on the completion of a memorial project.

  • The items to be completed under this project will be items determined to be beyond the normal maintenance items handled under of the club's annual budget.

Process

  • Identify repairs and upgrades that would qualify under this project.

  • Set up a system to where donations could be made for projects to be completed.

  • Have a system to where donations being made could be recognized as a memorial donation to an individual or group.  Different donation levels, plaques, and labels for items.

  • Establish active sub committees.  One to seek funding and donations for the upgrade projects.  another group of skilled tradesmen to complete the task or that have the knowledge to be able to contract the skilled craftsmen that may be needed.

  • Repair cracks in cellar walls

  • Moisture problem in basement

  • Windows in meeting area

  • Ceiling lights

  • Painting

  • Interior Walls
