April 29th is the Annual Awards Banquet.
Social hour 6:00 to 7:00 followed by the dinner. Reservations are required (to
ensure there is enough food). Ken is asking for donations for door prizes.

regular meeting started at 8:00 with Lou McNett chairing the meeting. ON

John Horth is not feeling well and is not getting around very well. He would

Scott Corsette had a kidney transplant and experienced some complications but is
reported that he is doing better. Friends of the NRA: See attached reservation form for the Friends of the NRA Banquet.
It is very important that you get your reservations in early to Dave Dano, as
there is limited room for this dinner. The
club will be getting a grant for the renovations of the clubhouse and we would
like as many as possible to attend. They
can fill out the form and mail it in with their check and e-mail me all
the names so I can make the table reservations. The more we have the
better. We need to get these in as soon as possible. My

our funds (just under 50%) where we can start the 1st project. The committee is
busy getting the items needed for the restrooms. The work will begin on
April 30th at 7am.

OF INTEREST: Newsletter Change: The newsletter will transition to the MRC website in May. All people currently receiving the newsletter via e-mail will be able to go to the web to see the current newsletter along with past newsletters. Those of you without email addresses will continue to get a hard copy. Those of you who would prefer to use the website instead of a hard copy can contact the newsletter editor via phone or email (kallen2@twcny.rr.com) and I will update the mailing list. The e-mail list was becoming hard to maintain as people change their emails and I do not get the updates. By using the website I will be able to update the site in a more timely matter and when issues come up between meetings I can add them to the website as Newsletter Updates. Also, I am hoping to begin adding some pictures to the site. Announcement from Gutchess Lumber: Foresters will be inspecting the lands owned by Gutchess from April 4th through June 15th 2011. They will be working periodically in the forest and using the road systems. This is to let members know to be aware of this and as always to use caution while turkey hunting and general land use. Workday chairman, Paul Newton, is transferring his responsibilities over to Dick Palmer. Reminder: No motorized vehicles on club property until after May 1st. May 1st starts the clubhouse property mowing. Do not plan on using the range on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If anyone knows someone who could place a bid to parge and put in drainage tile around the clubhouse please let the BOD know. We are seeking bids for this job. Classifieds: If anyone is interested in selling or buying
sporting goods, the newsletter can post the ads. Just drop the editor an e-mail
