MEETING:
The
regular meeting started at 8:00 with Lou McNett chairing the meeting.

SICK
AND AILING:
The club members held a moment of
silence for the passing of long time club member Paul Kelly. Dave
Dano’s mother in law passed away. Bill Harnas continues to struggle with back
issues since his surgery. Jeanie McNett is doing well from recent cataract
surgery with another one scheduled later. Mike Akin is ill.
Capital
Improvement Fund: The
club has over $7000.00 dollars in the capital improvement fund thanks to all the
people who donated. We are waiting for grant approval from the NRA, which would
provide additional funds for our building improvement.
ICE
Fishing Derby:
The derby was a huge success with 177 children and adults registered to fish.
There is a lot of work in making this derby a success so a BIG THANKS to Pete
Peterson, Dick Brock, Darien Brock, Jim Cole, Paul Zemotel, Martin Clark, Matt
Clark, Lou Box, Steven Zehr, Joe Cambell, Tim Crast, Tim Ridgeway, Jamie
Ridgeway, Dave Vezendy, Lou Mcnett, Bob Cook, Brad Sidmore, and Rhonda Box.
Federation
Report: The
annual Sportsman’s March on Albany is scheduled in April. Exact date to be
determined. The Oswego County Federation will be sponsoring a bus. Contact Chuck

Derby Chairman: Erick

Fly
fishing: Jim
Lewis is giving a fly fishing seminar on Saturday April 9th. He is
limiting this to the first 24 people who call and sign up. His number is

Nomination
committee is reminding everyone that
the nominations for all positions are open until March. If you want to nominate
someone please notify Bob Shelmedine or
any board member know

E-Mail:
If people are having problems with getting the newsletter via e-mail I have
received many mail delivery problems. Most of the messages are that the email
account is not valid. As I receive
these error messages, I am going to transfer sending out the newsletter via
email to letter form.
Deer
Kill: please report your deer take. This helps the club determine if certain
leases are worth the money we are paying for them. See attached form.
Facebook:
Chuck Parker is starting a MRC facebook page. Contact Chuck if you have any
pictures or stories you would like to see posted.
Trout
Derby. The derby is scheduled for June 25th.
Security:
Strawberry Lake property now has two locks. One is for the loggers and one for
MRC members.
If anyone knows someone who could place a bid to parge and put
in drainage tile around the clubhouse please let the BOD know. We are seeking
bids for this job.
The MRC is looking for any volunteers for legal council. If
interested or know someone who could help, please let a board member know.
Classifieds: If anyone is interested in selling or buying
sporting goods, the newsletter can post the ads. Just drop the editor an e-mail
