Federation Report: LEGISLATIVE ALERTS:

I (Chuck Parker) as a Representative of the New York State Conservation Council will receive various legislative alerts from the Council's office notifying of upcoming meetings or pieces of legislation that are going to be addressed.  These alerts often request that comments be made in support or opposition through (emails, written letters, phone calls on occasion).  It is important that more people get involved in this process.  Usually when these alerts are received they are fairly easy to respond to, as the contact information of who that has to be contacted is included.  I do not want to send unwanted email to our membership but I would like to forward these alert notices to those that would like to read them and possibly take responsive actions when needed.  If you or someone you know would be interested in receiving these notices please contact me with your email address at aparker@twcny.rr.com

Nominations: Elections are being held in April. See attached ballot sheet for people who are running for the various positions. Along with this years voting, is the club logo. We currently have two logos, and will be voting on these logos. Do we want just one logo or do we keep both.
