Registration is open for the summer session of Oswego County 4-H Shooting Sports. Program. In addition, there are still scholarship available as well.

At the June meeting it was proposed that the Mad River Club purchase a camp that has come up for sale. A special meeting to vote on this will be held on June 24, 7pm at the Club House.

Please look for an email by the end of the day with information on the property, price, and voting options.

Dear Summer Camp Sponsor,

At this time, the NYS DEC Environmental Education Summer Camps program is planning to celebrate our 75th Anniversary in 2022 with an in-person summer camps program.  Now more than ever in our history, children need the fun, unplugged outdoor learning experiences that can only happen at camp!

Online camp registration will open to families on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM.

A few reminders:

• Only families may register children for camp. Sponsors provide a ‘sponsorship code’ to families, which is used like a coupon code to pay for camp.
• One week of camp remains $350 per child and includes all meals, programs and overnight backpacking trips. Sponsors may provide full or partial sponsorships.

• Please become familiar with the DEC Summer Camp program and feel free to share our website with families.
